The Latest from Romulus Remus

'Good Grief' 10th Anniversary

Ten years ago, on December 31st, 2010, we released our first album, Good Grief. We are still proud of that accomplishment, the music it contains, and the artwork it features. The cover art was made by Robert Trudeau, a prolific visual artist and musician from Shreveport, La. The Good Grief cover features a black-and-white variation of the original artwork. We decided it would be a fitting tribute to the album and to Robert to present the never-before-seen colorized version of his artwork. Find your old copy of Good Grief, or download it over on the Music page, and give Good Grief a spin. We think it has held up well so far. Thanks to all of you for listening.

RR music video in the works

This past weekend, we filmed a music video downtown for a single to be released in the next few days (fingers crossed!). Major thanks to Chris Alexander (Mr. Christopher), Jeremy Jones, and Clay Murry!

In the meantime

About to release some songs that were recorded after Good Grief to tide you over until the new album is finished. Look for them in a week or so...

New video clip posted; anyone else have RR pics/vids?

Have you seen our Video page and watched some footage of us? If not, go check it out!  The videos listed there were recorded by our fans; we've simply gathered them up into one place where you can see and hear Romulus Remus any time you like.  Big thanks go out to those who filmed and uploaded them!

Do you have some pictures or video footage of Romulus Remus? If so, feel free to send it to us, or just give us a link to it so we can share it with everyone through the website. You will get a CD or Tshirt in return for your efforts!

Recording New Music...

We recently recorded some new material at Foxtrot Studios for our upcoming EPs Blue Sucker and A Sound Digression, and the rough tracks are full of the raw energy and grit that comes from a truly live session. All of us recorded in the same room at the same time, playing the songs in their entirety. The result is a sound as close to our live show as possible, without sparing any sound quality. In the coming weeks, we should have some mixes to review, and then onward to artwork and pressing. You can help us make this release go faster by purchasing a CD, digital download, or handcrafted T-shirt. Thank you for your support!
